Congregational Care Team
2024 Chair: David Hesnard
The Congregational Care Team oversees both fellowship opportunities and the care and nurture of members. Fellowship activities are offered throughout the year. Numerous social gatherings are provided, and everyone is encouraged to participate and enjoy good Christian fellowship. Get involved and get to know some folks!
Congregational Care also helps provide care and nurture for all the members of MacPherson who may be sick, homebound, or in a crisis situation. In addition, the team communicates regularly with college students and members of the military who live outside the community. To provide for special needs that some members of our church family may have, there is an active group of Stephen Ministers who have been called to by God to provide special care and have received training through the Stephen Ministry program.

MacPherson also sends a delegation to the Cabell-Lincoln work camp in West Virginia each summer and a delegation of volunteers to support the summer camp at our sister church in Oryol, Russia.
